Default RC 750cc injectors with chrome basemap.... havin idle problems

It starts right up... but it wont IDLE at all... Ive only got 1 code now.. thats 02 sensor.... which has been a problem for a while...

IT will start up to about 1500 rpm,. then it just drops down to like 50 rpm...and chugs... sometimes it will stay barely runnin, sometimes it just shuts off

what is the problem, how can i fix this idle....
i know that the higher the injectors, the harder it is to idle... but what can i do to correct this..

it also has pretty shitty throttle responce when i go to bring it up around 1000

edit... this is while cold... never got a chance to warm up all the way...

This should be expected with basemaps. I have the same "problem" with my basemap. Its just a basemap though, you cant expect it to be able to make the car run or idle very good without making changes. Im going to try to play with the fuel pressure to see if I can get it to idle longer and warm up. otherwise it just needs to be tuned.

You are throwing a code 1 with a boosted basemap ?

In my opinion, o2 feedback should be disabled hence you shouldnt throw that code.

rc 750cc saturated injectors are probably one of the biggest pain in the *** to idle on crome. I have seen a better idle out of peak & hold 1000cc injectors.

car needs to be tuned. I tuned a car this past weekend with crome & 750s and car purred at 900rpms. you just need to have the a/f adjusted correctly.

get it TUNED.

Your throttle responce sucks because the AFR is way off. Mine idled junky.. fluctuated and all kinds of crap, once i got it tuned it runs awesome.

Good to know...I thought the same thing out of one guys car.

Crome typically like to run too lean at idle. Go ahead and richen up the idle portion like 30% or more

yes you are. crome is not the problem nor is the injectors. get it tuned and you will be fine

I know all the tricks in the book & crome + saturated 750cc injectors at idle = unless you can idle the vehicle at 1000-1200 rpms & richen up the idle values to around 12.0-12.5:1 good luck :-)
