Default Stripped lug threads

i had new tires put on by tire discounters and they messed up my lug bolts but didnt tell me. they looked fine but now a couple months down the road when i was putting new rims on in my driveway i managed to strip the stock lug bolts bad enough that the lug nuts wont screw on any more...What can i do to replace the lug bolts and how hard/expensive is it...it's only on one wheel and its only two of the lug bolts stock on my 93 GSR

i local auto store will have the stock length ones

take your heat sheilds on the back off and hammer the studs out. place the new ones in and tighten some new lugs nuts on so the studs will seat right and you should be fine

Depends on if it is on the front wheels or the back. The back wheel studs can be replaced easily, the fronts have to have the hub seperated to remove the studs.
I also went to a discount tire chain for some tires ONCE, they stripped one of my studs and didn't say anything about it. Its those damn air guns they use in conjunction with not installing the nuts with there hands first until they are seated.

I actually went back and asked what their air gun torque setting was, and they said 95 ft/lbs, and I said, well the stock torque is 80 ft/lbs, and they didn't believe me, idiots.
