hey guys..i archived to see wat i could find but majority was for either b series motors or older civics. i have a 97 si with a stock motor with 140000km on it... recently changed the o2 sensor and the car bogs and hesitiates before 3000rpm whether it is hot or cold. the 02 is genuine honda replaced a month ago... regular oil changes and wat not. i am gonna change the fuel filter because i see that everyone says too. anything else i should be aware of?? any suggestinos would be great.

 

You have the wrong 02 sensor. It's supposed to be the D16Y8 one.

replaced the rotor, cap, fuel filter, wires and plugs. the dizzy had a yellow powder in it?? does that mean it is bad.?? it still bogged a bit but not as bad as before... anyother suggestions??

 

Blah, I was going to say the wires/plugs because mine did the same thing (and I had teh same problem with a B16 hatch) and it was the wires...but u chnaged that...guess I would make sure that's the right O2, see where u r from there...
