just got some rims need help with tire size
just bought some circuit 8s came with tires the tires on it are 215 45 16. they are way to wide my question is what other tire sizes will fit on the rims they are 16x7 please help asap need them to pass inspection tahnk you
Those are not way too wide they are only +1 or 2 % over stock. Go with a 205/40/16 or a 205/45/16 if you want closer to a stock size wheel/tire combo.
thanks. but what is the reason to get the 205/40-16 instead of the 205/45-16. i dont know much about tires and tire sizes. any help would be apprecated.

You want to get the tire size whose outer diameter is about the same as stock. In your case, that's the 205/40-16, which is 0.8 percent smaller in diameter than the stock 175/70-13 for most '93 Civics. The 205/45-16 has a taller sidewall, which makes the outer diameter 2.7 percent larger than stock. This throws off the accuracy of the speedometer and odometer, the tires may rub on the fenders, and they make your car accelerate slower. (The 215/45-16 was even worse, 4.3 percent larger diameter than stock).
