Default B18C GSR vs SR20DET

I wanted to know which motor would win.
EG Hatch with B18C GSR vs 240sx fastback with S14 SR20DET

B18C GSR 94-up
VTEC, HP:178hp@7600 Torque:129 lb-ft@6200

S14 SR20DET 94-up
Variable valve timing system, HP: 220hp @ 6000 rpm torque: 28.0 kg @ 4800 rpm (203 ft.lbs)

my friend tells me a EG hatch w/B18 GSR would own a SR. I wanted to get opinions from different people on this forum and others. Since this topic has never been discussed I would like it to be strictly relevant to the original post. please no one be offended if I have offend I apalogize.

I can't say for S14 RWD SR20, but I have a similar match.

EG B18C1 vs. B14 (Sentra) SR20DET (FWD).

The B18C1 is stock except for the catback. SR20DET was stock boost with a tiny DP/exhaust.

Off the line, the EG will take the lead due to lightness. It may also win in a 1/4 mile race.

In a long run (I'd say by 1/3 mile), the SR20 will catch up and pass the EG as if it's standing still.

I owned both cars. That's how I know. The EG runs out of air by the end of 3rd.

I don't think benchracing threads are allowed per the TOS...

Edit: I didn't see anything about it in this forum guidelines...

I think the SR20 would win, but how much does the car it is in weigh?

I dont think it is against the TOS, but it is still frowned upon. Benchracing is dumb. To many variables, and you could argue all day sometimes. but whatever. Either way this is not really tech related, so it doesnt belong here. Take it to the kills forum and let the kills pirates have at it
