I just snapped my passenger side gator the other night, just curious if you gusy reccomend staying with them if I get them warranty or switching to DSS? Experiences? Comments? Also anyone have any experiences with DSS , the system with the hub and everything complete? Im just curious cause i have a 5 lug ctr swap, will they be able to make the hub with the 5x114.3 ?

Id recommend DSS over gator. Been using DSS stage5s for 3 seasons on 24.5-26" slick no problems.

Pro Drive axles. Good support, great axles, good quality control. Preloading will help any axle.

I belive they are 34mm i have 5 lug conversion from a CTR so since i was able to use my stock axle size i think its 34, isnt the jdm ctr 36mm?

Yours must be 32mm then. There is no 34, I dont know what the hell I was typing I meant 32 or 36mm. JDM ITR's from 94-98 have the 36mm axle. The rest of the Honda's have only 32mm units.

Do you have the gator Stg2's now?

DSS Stg3's will work with the 36mm Honda hub. (unless they changed them recently) There stage 5's I think use an even bigger outter, or maybe its just 34splines instead or 32, Im not sure. Im doing research on that right now. The larger gator outers (from the stage 2 modified, which I dont think they sell anymore) use a 36mm Circuit Worx spline which will not bolt to a Honda hub.

I ran DSS Stage 1 axles on my all motor ITR, and oddly enough one of them let go in torqueless 4th gear when merging onto the highway. Was the strangest thing in the world. DSS replaced it for me though But Im giving the Gators a shot this time around on the boosted setup.

With gator you can only do the stage 2's then jump up to the baller 3M axles which are at least a grand I think. The old stage 3's or 2 modifieds where just stage 2 axles with the larger 36mm outers. Thats where yours broke right Boosted Si?

Again, check out Pro Drive. Their axles are incredibly well made and their quality and service support are unbelieveably good.

broke a gator stage 3 mod on a full throttle 1-2 shift, glen fixed it, no questions. apparently i grenaded the tripod, and there is a new phangled one that he put in there. i am thinking of dss stage 5's, or the circuit worx (pro drive) i dont want to break anymore. i already have the jdm itr 5 lug so thats why i have the stage3 modified. the "modified" is the use of an accord outter joint.

You have the stage 2 modifieds. They used to be called stage 3's which were just the 2's with a larger outer. The new stage 3's are made out of 300M not chromolly. This is also the case with the DSS stage 5's, there 300M.
