i hear a strange whining noise when i downshift coming from under the hood. and it aint the engine??
my friend said its the bearings or something for my tranny? its a 5 SPD DX tranny. its not the normal engine rev down sound but i can actually feel it on the shift **** as it slightly vibrates...any ideas on what this could be?also its getting hard to put my car in 1st gear when im stopped? why?

Check tranny oil. 1st gear always is somtimes hard to put into just ease out on the clutch half way and shove it in
