my Lude has under 50,000 miles, & my oil seems to be disappearing. i.e. not burning or leaking; using 1+ quarts every 3000 miles, dealership repaired heads, still happening, any ideas???? Mechanic tried to tell me that ALL cars use a quart of oil between oil changes....guess they think I'm a dumb ole blonde girl! Any ideas? Oh, I have extended warranty, so I'm not paying for repairs might be why they are giving me the run around.

 

H22's burn oil. Your oil consumption is normal... move along, nothing to see here.

 

keep it out of vtec and it wont use as much oil

exactly...It's normal for the H22's to burn oil. Besides, you should be changing it anyways around 3k miles instead of just pouring more in
