Default SI/front wheel Launching...

i am not used to launching front wheel drive...i had an AWD eclipse before i got my Si and i could launch the **** out of it...but now i need some real advice on launching the front wheel....i raced my friends scion tC from a rol and killed him numerous times....i consider myself a good driver....but the launch needs help.....i lost to him when we dragged... ...i cant let this happen again....help me!!!!!

simple. launch around 3-4k so your tires only chirp when you launch, once they grip go for it. experiment if a little wheel spin helps keep you in the power making band. the scion tc has killer low end torque since its engine is a 2.4? so he'll eat you 1st gear n maybe part of 2nd but then you should catch up real good since you got 6 gears and more hp.

yeah go lower since your on street tires 2500k then punch it.
