4 channel amp in the type R
Interesting. I just finished installing an old school Alpine V12 Expert and Boston Acoustics 12" in my '97. During autocross the sub box will be outta there for the wheels & tires however.
I've kinda been on the stereo kick lately again with a new Alpine flip-down h/u. Also, I have an old PPI Art Series amp running two sets of highend A/d/s seperates.
Loud & clear = good

Little tip for you guys that do track/autoX and you still want a system. Wire up the box with a trailer terminal, the 4 pin one. Run your speaker wires from the amp to the terminal, and then from the terminal to the box. Then you can do a quick disconnect right there and take the box out. I wish I had pics of my old setup, but it was just that easy. Also makes it easy to get to the spare tire should you need to.

still kind of quick release as well. </TD></TR></TABLE>
They probably cost more too.

these would work better, so you don't need to worry about the - and + leads touching either other and shorting out the amp when they're not plugged in the terminal cup of the box...
