Okay, I thought I was gonna do some simple maintnance on my mothers 94 LS. Plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, but it turned into something very stupid.. Well installed the plugs no prob. Then I remove the Cap. I then go to remove the rotor. Well the damn screw was put on by King Kong and it stripped. So I removed the Distrib. and finally removed the screw. So the new rotor was installed. Ok. Now with the new rotor installed i put the new cap on and the new wires. I checked the wires to make sure they were setup right. Well I didnt notice the 2 were misplaced. The top 2 on the cap were switched. When I turned it over it blew the 100A fuse. Well when I found the fuse, someone had a crappy little homemade jumper wire jumping the 100A fuse. WHY??? Well it melted the dang plastic off the jumper wire when the fuse went. So I removed the junk jumper wire and installed a new 100A fuse and switched the wires to the correct way. Now back to the drawing board. I turned the car over again and no spark. ???? I have checked all the fuses related to spark and they are all fine including the new 100A fuse. My friend suggested I change the 3 prong diode or capacitor in the Distrib. ?? I need your help BIG time guys!!! Thank you!!

 

Which fuses are related to the spark?

Mine isn't sparking neither after I saw a burst of sparks from near the starter.
