Default Tranny problem

I just got my 2000 prelude for the 90k service.

The very next day I picked it up from the shop, my 5th gear would pop out to neutral.

The shop is claiming all they did was drain out the tranny fluid and refilled with 3qts of honda genuine tranny fuild. Any explanation to what could be the problem?
They also claim that my 5th gear synchro could be worn out?

I cannot go pass 65mph. Once I gas it from 5th gear, it would pop out with a force to neutral.

If any one is selling an M2B4 honda prelude tranny 5speed with LSD please let me know.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

i thought the tranny requires like 4.1 quarts. I may be wrong though.

The p2t4 tranny is LSD also my friend.

Damn, I've only been able to put about 2.5 qts into my tranny before it starts leaking out. Damn, I should try and put more in, cause my 5th Gear pops out as well

No, roughly 2.1-2.3 qts is all that should be filled in the trans. The reason for the 5th gear issues is that the syncro retaining spring is flat on the outer edge causing the issue. It's pretty common on these trannys to have this issue. The correction will be a 5th gear syncro assembly.
