The one that is very well thought out that takes into consideration every possible theft senario and allows you ease of use, which gives you peice of mind. talk to your local MECP certified installer

A long-range two way paging alarm with code hopping, a tracking system, a battery backup module, dual sirens, a kill switch, all stealth installed, glass breakage, tilt, and a good (non-DEI) motion/proximity sensor. Reroute the hood release cable. Shave or disable the door key cylinders. All audio equipment hidden, a removable faceplate stereo or an Eclipse using the ESN feature, wheel locks, and some common sense.

Sounds like a lot but it's really more effort than cost.

But yeah, that's what it takes to cover all forms of attack and basically make your car theft proof.

Where is this thread? Is there a security FAQ?

I need an alarm and could use some FAQs as I am a noob to car security.

Edit:
also where can I fond the MECP(?) installers referred to earlier?
