I've got a 1990 hatchback dx with the d15b2 and I've got a water leak from the radiator anywhere around the cam gear all the way down to the crank basically coming from around that whole side of the engine. It started raining so I couldn't get real dirty and try and find the leak also it only leaks when the engine starts to get hot. If anyone can give me a tip or anything about where I should search and how to test if thats where the leak is it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

water pump maybe, if u wana test it go to auto zone and rent a presure tester to find where the leak is coming from.

 

water pump or the main coolant pipe that runs along the back of the block.

 

thanks much I'll check it out. Its starting to be a pretty violent leak mainly releasing water at idle.

 

it could be the water pump gasket..cause that was my same problem

 

Check that **** out ASAFP! If that blows out completely it'll take your motor with it.

 

alright its been singled out to the water pump, thanks guys. Now I just gotta go through the pain in the *** of gettin it off and gettin the new one on. Can anyone help me out with how to line up TDC on the cam gear?
