Default Rear shock forks to narrow...

I bought a used set of KYB AGX shocks for my 95' GSR.I was told by a respectable seller on here that he knew they were for a EG/DC2.

I just lined them up with the LCAs and there to narrow.Anybody have an idea what there for?EK possibly?

they are all the same.
try bending them outwards.

92-00 civic and 95-01 tegs = all the same
i think there are even more hondas that use the same setup not entirely sure

You sure, because there about 1/2 to 3/4 inch smaller than the stock forks.Seems like alot of bending.

Can anyone verify this before I bend these?

im 100% sure, i work at IMPOperformance we are honda specialists i do alot of suspension work for customers. kyb's and stock replacement gabriel shocks are often bent inward and must be bent into shape to fit.

dont bent them if its more then 1/8th of an inch diffrence. If they are any more then that, you were sent the wrong shocks, or the guy is full of ****. you cant bend it out it its 1/8"+

i figured he's exagerating quite a bit, most of the time they r bent inwards slightly so that they get a tight fit.

of coarse they shouldn't be bent beyond reason, if it dosent look like a match then theyre most likely not for a honda.

I looked up the part # and there for 96-00 civics.I also measured it and there exactly 1/4 inch more narrow than stock.

Will a EK LCA bushing fit in the DC LCA?Either that or shave 1/4 inch off of the bushing which I really dont want to do.

akstunt600 I sent you IM

Thanks

sorry, my im's dont work, it wont hurt anything stretching it out a bit, BUT if you hav access to a grinder go ahead and shave alil off both sides of the lca bushing.

I have to get one new bushing anyway, so will a EK bushing fit in the DC LCA?
