Sudden itching for Jefferson Circuit!!!
Jefferson Circuit was my first HPDE experience. I've been to VIR full thrice now. I have a sudden urge to go back to my first track. And I don't mean autox. When's the next JC HPDE? Of course I'm also looking forward to NASA Summit main course in June.

Unfortunately, i dont think the DC region is doing any more AutoX there. Probably due to the incident(s) last summer and that they've booked their schedule at FedEx this year. However, it was a blast while it lasted there....

But when you put decreasing distance, offset slaloms on the straights, like we did for DC region autoX events, things can get hairy. They did a bunch (6?) of incident free events, but last july the carnage toll was:
Dented up Neon
Dended up C4
Totaled Saturn SL2
Busted Boxster
Day 2 of the event was called off. It was ugly...
Keep the straights, well, straight, and its a nice safe place for schools.

It's a neat little course, and both NASA and Speedtrial have had incident-free events there.

I want to go back to, simply because I got "true" times that weekend, and would love to see if the car and I have improved much...
