Hello, I have a 94 cx hatch with a 2000 GSR motor converted to ODB1. It is bone stock except for the intake. I went out to go somewhere, and the car has no power when you turn the key. No clicking sounds, no lights on the dash, no nothing. Its as if the battery is completely dead. I just replaced the battery about 5 months ago, so I guess I can rule that out. Although, some people have said it could be a bad cell in the battery. The only thing I have done is physically looked at all of the grounds, and they seem to be ok. What I want to know is, could there be something that is specific to these motors that I should be looking at. Just trying to get an idea where to start. Thanks for the info.
Edit: When I jump the car off, it starts right up with ease.

dude this happened to me once. It could be the main fuse that come from the battery then goes to the fuse block. If that is blown then there wouldn't be any power at all. Good luck man...
If you used jumper cables and it started your car, it is either the battery or connections at the battery terminals usually. I have had batterys test good at the parts store, but were still bad. Last time, I had them test one, they said it was good, but when I installed it, the car wouldn't start. I got a jump, went back to the auto parts store, had them charge it, test it (said it was good), then I had them let it sit for 30 minutes and test again, it was very bad.
There are other things that could cause no current to go to the starter: clutch interlock switch, ignition switch, starter relay, fuses... But since you jumped it and it started, then probably connections at the battery or a bad battery.

That is what I'm thinking. If it was an underhood fuse or something, the car wouldn't jump off. It starts up effortlessly with jumper cables. Gonna find another battery and see what happens.

could be a bad starter. happen to me once, the car won't click over and start but I have power inside the car, I jump it and it start right up. I jump the car for about a month everytime it won't start but one day it won't start at all. It turn out to be the starter.
