Default help with cluster swap pleease

hey guys well i recently bought a cluster with a tech from the junkyard. i gotta 91 civic dx sedan. i tried to put it in but when i finally hokoed everything up the tach didnt work at all. i would try the signal lights and the highbeam but when i would put them on all of the lights on the cluster goes on. now im not sure if i got it off a 90-91 or a 88-89. is there any way of telling? what kind of clusters can i use for my 91 dx? im really confused guys i neeed my in 2 days. someone please help

someone out there help me pleeease i need my car runnin by tomorrow. is there a way to tell a part 88-89 and 90-91 cluster? and if i accidentally got a 88-89 cluster is there any way to make it work on my 91??? someone help please

aww so i did get the wrong cluster. is there any way of making it work?? would just re-wiring it make it work? but how much time would that take and is it that hard? and if you can do that anybody got any wiring diagrams??

I have swapped out a dx for an Si cluster in my old hatch. All connections were the same, no mods. Just get the right 1 I guess, I never had that problem.

88-89 have 2 plugs in the back of the cluster..90-91 have three including the lil blue one
