6-point cage with flat x-bars for doors, dash bar, harness, diagonal, one cross brace for the roof halo
Just trying to get my budget together, TIA.

Probably over 60 ft.

Think there is a little over 80 in mine, a little more intricate than what you have planned it sounds like. I still need to add some more to mine too. I'd plan on 100 ft., especially if you are buying and doing the cage yourself. Once the tubing is bent, you can't exactly unbend it ya know.

If this is for a wheel to wheel car, please spend the extra money now and put nascar style door bars in the drivers side. It will end up saving you quite a bit of money doing it now instead of in the future!
Around 70' sounds about right for what you listed.

We usually order it by the 'stick' from the local steel suppliers. That is a piece that is precut from the mill. Each stick is anywhere from 20'-25' long.
You can ask for exact lengths but then you will typically have to pay a 'cut' charge.
As a general rule, we plan on 4 sticks per car.

+1 for ordering full "sticks" It can save you $1-$2 per foot. Take cash and call ahead for the days price. Steel is worse than gas lately.
If I were you, I'd pick a class/rulebook and build to meet it. No sence in tossing a cage in there just to do track days and then find out it won't pass tech should you decide to step up to W2W.
This isn't the same car you wanted to cut the top off of is it?

Not the same car.
This car will never see any racing. It will paid off shortly. Not going to put it more at risk by racing it.
