Default how to change the HID bulbs? (JDM front + HID)

dear bros with JDM front end swaps, can u pls guide me on how to change out the HID bulbs? do we have to remove the ballast behind?

You need a tamper resistant torx bit to remove the 4 screws (I think it's 4) holding the ballast in place. Then unhook the two wires, twist the light socket off, and remove the bulb.

on my car, found 2 on each side
so i gotta remove the ballast, unhook the wires and screw it out like a normal lamp?

tried to do it last weekend, removed 2 special screws from each ballast. but the ballast refused to move a single inch. didnt dare to apply too much force in fear of breaking anything expensive.
can someone pls help? some pics wud be greatly appreciated
