Wsup Peeps,

I just recently bought a 4 door sedan with 145K. I noticed that when I drive the car on the freeway the car starts to jerk when your gassing it. In order for you to reach 70mph you will need to accelerate very slowly.

Last night I was driving on the freeway and the check engine light came on. I then realize that the car turned off. I pulled over to the side and restart the car, the car started fine and got me to the place I was trying to get to.

I'm really not sure where to start looking for the problem.

Need some help guys....

 

does it always jerk when you're accelerating?

 

On regular driving it does not jerk, only when you hit the freeway and you start going about 50MPH.

 

Check under the passenger side carpet with the key "ON" and see if the light in the middle is blinking.

Mine did that when the 02 sensor was bad.....
