I was wondering if someone coulde do me a favor and describe to me the hardwar that holds the center red tail light for a hatch in place. a picture would be great. thanks.

 

mine just had a few tiny nuts on the bolts...and the harness for the light...that's about it?

 

remove hatch plastic piece, remove hex nuts, stick in pliers and compress center clip, pull center garnish off as one unit . Pretty simple to understand once you get the interior hatch trim off .

 

ok. the problem is that i bought a shell with nothing on it and now am putting it together. i do not know what hardware i need for the center pice. clips hex whatever the hex screws onto...i dont have any of it. just the center piece and the car.
taking the f'er off would be easy. i might have the hardware but dont know what i am looking for in my bags of screws bolts clips and other shyt

 

red circles = 8 or 10 mm bolts(I forgot)

blue circles = conectors for the lights

Hope that helps. There are no washers the bolts are "tophats", gold in color. It should line right up when you put it on.
