Visible whitish smoke coming out of vents in car
Heres info about my car:
95 ls teg
about 140k miles
basically stock
Anyways, Today it was hot and humid (about 80) and raining. I turned my ac on and this whitish smoke comes out. I wouldnt really say it was smoke because it didnt make the inside cabin all foggy or smokey. Here's an analogy: It was as if it was cold outside and someone was breathing hard.
I tried to smell it but it just smelled like air.
With the ac button still on, I put the recirculation button and it went away.
Then I turned the recirc button off and the ac off and it went away.
Once i turned the ac on again it seemed like the white smoke was gone. Im like wtf?
Keep in mind this was all done while i was driving.
Can anyone enlighten me on this matter?
Thanks

I have the exact same thing happening to my car. It is a 01 gsr w/ 80000 on it. I think its just the freon from the ac or something. I don't think its a problem as long as your ac still works fine. Sorry can't be of assistance, just that your not the only one w/ same thing happening.

LOL. well, sound like nothing serious, since its not burning or AC gas smell.
pop your hood and inspect
