I have a nice set of 17" wheels. Though I am not compeltely certain as to the manufacturer I have been told on a number of occasions they are Kosei from the mid 90's. However for argument sake I will just say, manufacturer unknown. Stamped on the back of one of the spokes on each wheel is "Made in Japan" so you can be assured they are a quality wheel. They are in very good condition with the only visible damage being a small mark on the lip of each from some boob mounting the tires. They have no curb rash and are straight. They were originally silver but have been refinished in flat metalic black with many coats, front and back and sanded between for a completely smooth finish that has had no problem holding up to the wheel scrubbers in carwashes. The metalic gives them a bit of shine so they aren't completey dull, nor glossy which I think looks bad unless there is a silver or polished lip. They have 215/40/17 Yokohama Paradas on them though though they are near the tread bar. Given I can't be positive about the manufactuer (ignore the center caps they are not original tot he wheels) I can't venture an actual value but I would like to get atleast 500.00 for the set because that is what it would take for me to give them up even though I don't really have a use for them. (too big for CRX IMO). They are nice looking (much better in person then in pic), are made in Japan and I have not seen them anywhere in person or in the many hours I scoured the internet looking at pics trying to find out what they are. So you can be confident in being the owner of some pretty darn rare Japanese made wheels. 500.00 or consider trades for 15 or 16" wheels (no OEM) pickup only in Vancouver, WA or surrounding area.
