im looking into doing this cause i think it'll look darn good on the car. curious wat kit is recomended and wat size solenoids and wat not. any of anyone has any pics could u post em up. thanx
use autoloc
35lb sloenoids should b good & not too loud
use should get there emergency pull handle too so u wont get trapped inside ur car when the battery dies
trust me its not fun climbing out the trunk
especially when ur have a strut bar & a w7

when u shave ur handles the doors r gonna b controlled electronically by a popper
so no they dont work normal from the inside
when ur alarm is armed & the doors r locked the doors wont open at all
so it doesnt matter about outside switches
emergency switch?
it wont work in an emergency(dead battery) because switches use power
u need to rethink why u wanna do this
it seems like u just want it 4 looks
u need to do ur research...

There is no reason why the doors should not work normally from inside the car, [unless you remove the inside linkage also, and you do not need to].
As for an emeg. switch, tha_badguy is correct about that, it will not work if you have a dead batt., there are a few things you can do, first, and the one I recommend, install a mechanical release, I use a cable, [like the ones on a bicycle] new holes may have to be put into the door and car to run the cable, but if done properly, you will never be locked out of your car.
The other thing I have done is install a terminal in the trunk/hatch, [as long as it's still accessible] the terminal will have the pos. (+) and neg. (-) wires from the solenoid of one of the doors run to it, if the batt. is dead or the remote does not work, touching a set of jumper cables, [hooked to the batt. of another car] will pop the door, I have even put terminals for both front doors and a small 12V batt. in the back of a car, so you don't even need another car.
However the mechanical release is by far the best, most reliable and easiest to install, the hardest part will be finding a cable long enough.
