Default will it hold?

can any one tell me if an hf 4speed tranny will hold for a SOHC V-TEC?cause im low on cash and thats my only tranny, thanx in advance,peace.

Yes it will. It will be slow as ****, but it will hold.

dude , tranny's are a dime a dozen at the junk yard.
You'r already swapping the engine so why be cheap ? Try to pick one up at the scrap yard.

yea definatly to the engine and the tranny at the same time, you'll regret not putting your tranny in when you had the chance and you have to pull your engine or drop your engine or what not at a later time
