Default toda Cs on a boosted del sol.

i did a bit of research for my turbo civic. i didnt know if i should get a turbo cam or a NA cam. i found a workshop here in melbourne australia that put the toda Cs on their boosted b16a and got 534hp/400kw
i hope this help gives ppl an inside to what na cams can do on a turbo car

most dynos i have been around give a way higher number when you scale it to wheel speed instead of engine rpm. for example when i used to use a mustang dyni, my n/a civid would show well over 350whp@ XXXMPH

but 187@XXXXRPM

something to do with the trannies multiplication of power

Pretty fascinating... I would actually be way more interested in the cam gear settings though...

I am not much of a fan of aggressive NA cams in a boosted setup.. Last thing I'd want to worry about is problems from most built NA setups -- timing belt snapping, valve springs binding, valve float, worn retainers. Now add our typical boost problems onto the list...haha It's a mobile time bomb

this is an interesting subject because we have been looking at a few different cam profiles of "turbo cams" and SOME of them are exactly a copy of some N/A cams..............I believe a very popular turbo cam was Extremely close to a set of buddy club 3s

What happens with high boost applications and excessive overlap? wouldnt that bleed off boost on the top end?
