Default How to get an accurate rendition of a color into a paint

The new BMW 325i has an AMAZING color called Silver Gray Metallic (i believe) which is a beautiful dark gunmetal type color. I want to paint my car this color. I can get the color off of the bmw website. How do i accurately get this color into a paint i can use on my car? Will BMW release their paint codes?

Thanks.

So based on that, just stop at a local BMW dealer and find the car with the correct paint color and write it down?

I'm guessing it's Steel Gray Metallic Clearcoat from your discription. Color code is 400.
