gunna pick up some te37's wondering what offsets the rest of you 5th gen'ers run

+45 minimum, +48 is better for 17x7.5

its not a matter of looks either - there's a good chance you'll need to roll your fenders with a +42 17x7.5 and a 215/40/17 tire.

I run 215/40/17 on 17x7.5 SSRs and they're just about flush with the fender. fitment is perfect with a ~1.5" drop and it looks great.

dude, i'm running 17x7rims and 215/40/17tires with a +40mm offset. i don't rub at all and i'm lowered 1.5 inches. but just to let you know though, i have some negative camber in my front which is the reason why it's not rubbing
