Default OT:to all the guys with drag only setups....

I just got a bare(I mean bare) 93 HB shell for free and I have a few questions.....

1. what kind of suspension are you running to achieve your goals?

2. when you cut off the front end, do you leave the crossmember(on the bottom). How do you jack up the car to do a engine replacement if you do cut off the x-member?

3. how is your dash setup? I just want some ideas...

That's all I can think of right now, I might have some more in the future

1) not many people like togive away their suspension setups but there are numerous ways todo...u can start with some good coilovers

2)generally tractionbars are put acrossthe front orsomething other that tiesthe frame together... theres plenty of ways tojackup the car still

3) i dont have a drag only car so i have a stock dash...everything under it is taken out though

I know a lot of people don't want to hand out their secrets, but just for some ideas...

I can't decide if I should throw my turbo mtoor in there(I have right now)or build an all motor car with an h22...Right now, there's too many people doing way too good with turbo setups to go up against....but then again, I'm only gonna be in the midwest area mostly anyways

whats your budget?

dash setups.. from all new aluminum pieces to just using the stock dash.

suspension, depends on your setup.. gonna use wheeli bars? goin all motor?

seriously, it all comes down on how much u wanna spend.
theres so many diff ways, from a Stock hub and suspension to a LAMB custom suspension.

Well, Most of the body stuff, I'm probably gonna do it myself...gonna get a NHRA rulebook and try it out.

as for the dash, there is no stock dash in there

as for the suspension, I'm trying to stay with stock hubs....might use wheelie bars(still thinking about it)...

I jsut need pictures of how people have different dash setups to see what I can create from all the different ones

I'm gonna build the body first. Then If I feel like throwing my current motor(or new rebuild) in her, I can do that....If I want to sell her, I can do that too. If you were going all motor, would you start with a B-series or H-series?
