clutch mc install
hi i just install my clutch master cylinder and everything feels great.. shift greats.... shifter slide now.. but i know i did everythign right but when i was bleeding it.. i had my father pump it for me for like a good 2 mins.. i told him to push down the pedal until i go to the slave cylinder and open the bleeder screw... fluid poured out.. and what not did this constantly.. was wondering if this is the right way.. i'm assuming its right because everything is fine..

yep its all good thanks guys.. but why does the pedal stay on the floor after u open the bleeder valve though? maybe because u release all the pressure? i think i answered my own question..
but when a slave cylinder goes bad what is the syptom? i just replace the master cyl only.

you did answer your own question, when you open the valve you're letting out all the pressure so you need to pull the pedal back up. when a slave cylinder goes back it either leaks or when you push on the pedal the shaft on the slave does not push on the clutch fork.
