Default can anyone help me w/cruisers?

I've read everyone's opinion about beginner bikes...but... here's my situation. I'm 32, female, 5'2"...learned to ride (and did quite a bit of riding) when I was 19-22. The bike I used was a Nighthawk 650. (I rode tiptoe, not smart--I know--but again, I was a kid, and never into speed, highways, heavy traffic) Now, I'm older, wiser, and have more money. I haven't been on a bike in 10 yrs, although my license is current, and I know I'll take the MSF course when I finally buy a bike. I've researched the Shadow VLX (650), Spirit 750, and ACE 750 Deluxe. The Spirit is the perfect height, but I am in love with the ACE. It's 27.6 in. seat has me with one foot on the ground, and one in a heel-up-but-not-tip-toe position. At the dealership, The salesman said the seat could be lowered a little, but he wasn't going to accomodate me at the time...I'm not ready to buy yet, still researching. Do you think I should shelve the love and go for the perfect fit bike, or do you think this is a moot point, and I should get a dinky 250 Rebel to play with? I really don't want to buy bike 1, 2, and "work" my way up to 3. I understand caution, and I'm still not into speed. Opinions, comments, advice appreciated. Great guys on your forum by the way.

I always read about how people recommend the Suzuki Savage 650 for lady riders because of its low seat height. Look into that bike if theyre still sellling them.

I wouldnt recommend the Rebel 250, I used to have a Nighthawk 250 a few years ago (same motor), and theres just no power, youll get tired of it very quickly.
