Car Leans Out - Turboedit Cells Are Maxed - What Can I Do?
EDIT:::
Well I just turned the boost down to 10 psi and as soon as it hits and hold @ 10psi at around 4000rpm the a/f start to rise quickly again, its runs in the 10.5:1 range until 10psi and then just skyrockets
It was never like this before
I also turned down the **** on the BNM pressure regulator about 2 spins, my air fuels at idle changed so it richenned up and I raised the pressure (no gauge to support this anymore, my marshall one aparently crapped out)
So Im stumped and dont know what to do
Need some help, could my b&m regulator be messed somehow, wouldnt it be failing at other areas as well or is it under stress when under boost? I do have 2 stockers
-----------------------------------
Hey guys. I recently upped the boost to 15lbs today and went out for a rip to get some baseline numbers
I richenned up all my boost portion and got it running at about 10.8:1 up to about 10 psi. I then gave it and went for 15psi in 3rd gear and as soon as the boost gauge shot up past 12psi or so the number leaned out crazy fast.
Went into turboedit and added 20% fuel, the number in the cell is 20.62
I ran that car on this and did the pull in fourth gear this time and once again @ about 4k rpms and 13+ pounds the numbers started leanning out fast
The car is an 88 Crx si, dsm 450's, turboedit running a gm 3 bar map sensor and walbro high flow pump. Adjustable FPR set at 41 or so psi
I need some help on this. Let me know what I can do
Thanks guys

fuel pressure should be at 45psi with vac hose pulled you can bump it up a bit if needed. not sure what motor your running but if your around 300hp then it might be time to buy bigger injectors.
I know that whenever you switch out map sensors, the car tends to run leaner for some reason. Xenocron would have a better idea of why this tends to happen but he told me to watch out for that when tuning my boost portion of my map. Try bumping the fuel pressure to 43@idle with the hose on and see what that does for you.
If you have datalogging can you see which cell it is reading from?
Otherwise turn up the fuel pressure to 50 lbs and see if it still leans out; if it doesn't lean out as much you need bigger injectors. Or keep the pressure up

change the resolution of the injectors....... if they are 440cc injectors use a different scale (ex. 400cc) to bring the numbers down.

hahaha this is coming from the leading authority .
your such a loser dude. you have no idea what your talking about. turboedit is fine. hes running out of pump or injector.
wait,. quick, everybody buy hondata. hahaha

dont mess with the fuel multiplier
you can do:
1- get bigger injectors and tune again
2- raise the fuel pressure to about 60-65psi, and drop the injector duty cycle to a safe range, you more likely maxing them out anywaysm and you dont want them over 80% duty or they will fry and or not work properly

10.8:1 is a little too rich IMO. I would lean it out a little bit. When you say "leaned out crazy fast" what was the actual A:F ratio? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge in the car or on the car? If so can you get on a dyno and watch it?

I didnt plan on 10.8:1, thats just were its all richenned up to so I could watch where it went lean and how fast, gave me more of a safeway I suppose
I do have a Fuel pressure gauge but its mounted on the fuel filter, reads just above 41with the hose disconnected
I suppose I could raise the pressure, will that change my entire tune compltely?

hahaha my car runs better with only an AFC, makes more power, and is alot faster.

165whp in a auto piece of d series **** is blazing fast man. dont let anyone tell you otherwise

wow, don't care how fast that is, expletive that looks stupid, do sumthing with that bumper, even if it is drag i'm surprised they let you race with that cut entirely in 2.

you should bump your base fuel pressure up to around 45 like stated earlier while the vac hose is off... that should help you out some
when you say it was leaning out what was it reading?

what size turbo are you running? even at 15lbs on my turbo (t3 300ZX) i still have not maxed out the 440s. i was at 78% duty cycle.
course the car now has methanol injection and the duty cycle went way down
