high boost hondas, how often you change your sparkplugs????
i had a wierd power loss problem the other day @full boost, car was breaking up bad. i didn't know what to do, then i thought id check my plugs.
the electrodes were as thin as a needle. so i replaced the plug and the car pulled fine,
im making 380whp @ 18psi and the plugs only had like 3000 hard miles on them.

wow. as long as your tune is good, meaning A/F and timing, then the plugs
should last a good amount of time, but not 3000 hard miles on a boosted car.
not saying they won't last that long, but something as cheap as plugs, IMO, should be changed way before that.
i dont know why you guys go through so many plugs.......maybe i dont drive my turd hard enough but my plugs have been installed for over 10k miles and they still look great.

my car before was putting down 260whp and i had to change mine every 2000 miles with a pretty good tune. It depends how you drive the car, i drive to school which is 4hrs away and usually after i come home from a trip the car is already being stupid a lot of sputtering and what not.
what plugs do you guys use?

i use NGK 2668's. ill use the ones from the previous rounds of eliminations, for qualifying, unless there is a problem, and def put new ones in before eliminations.
I always change them before an event, and maybe before eliminations if i feel like they might cause an issue. Also, before i hit the dyno, i throw new ones in. The new tune seems to be a lot better though. I have probably 15 passes on them an probably 400 miles on them.
Its a cheap thing to replace that might cost you in the long run.
