seat installation
I'm picking up a new set of black/blue seats off my friend. he's selling them dirt cheap becuz they're taking up room in his house and he needs the cash. they're brand new, but I have a few questions about them.
is it possible to use your stock rails/sliders to install racing seats? I've tried searching online but couldn't find the exact answer to my question.
I heard that using the aftermarket rail you have to drill holes to bolt the seats down into the floor of your car. I figured that if I could still use the stock ones, that the rails would fit perfectly into the car. the only thing I heard about doing it is I may have to get a piece of metal and drill a few holes in it to get it to fasten to the seat, then weld the metal onto the stock rails.
anyone have any thoughts on this? or know an answer to my original question?
thanks.
