what is better so my 97 civic EX with OBD1 GSR Motor and ecu...what is better my p72 ecu or my p28 chipped

depending on mods. I'm guessing basically stock with some bolt-ons. If the P28 is programmed for your setup, use that. Otherwise just use the P72. Performance wise you're not gonna feel anything

does the p28 use the KS...if it dosen't will my v-tec still work

I believe P28s do not detect a KS. VTEC will engage as long as its a chipped P28 for your setup/DOHC VTEC engine

P72 is better for full fonctionality.

The p28 will work but without IAB and knock sensor.

The knock sensor is there to protect your engine from pigning and the IAB to give you

low end torque. (80% @ 2500rpm)
