question on motor swaping

question on motor swaping

If im correct the motor has to be of the same year or newer? and of course pass smog and visual...

is it hard to get it passed by the ref?

TO DO A SWAP. CAN USE ANY MOTOR AS LONG AS MOTOR MOUNT SWAP ARE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR CAR AND MOTOR AND NEED TO KNOW HOW TO WIRE IT UP RIGHT.

TO answer the question, yes, you are correct. The motor must be the same year or newer.
