How can you tell if a fuel filter is clogged
I'm having a little trouble with my hatch, talking about it in this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1663668 I have a stupid question about the fuel filter. How can you tell when it is plugged. So I took off the fuel filter today, and after I poured as much fuel out as I could, I put a rubber hose into the "in" hole and blew in. It felt like there was some resistance, like the air coming out should have been coming out a lot harder. I'm guessing that this means the filter is plugged up.
On my 87 Si, when the fuel filter was clogged, it actually acted like a rev limiter. It would rev without load, but it would cut off if you drove it with load up to i think it was 400 rpms.
