Hello, New member here. I bought my 1998 Civic hatchback. It has jdm type r complete swap with LSD and the tranny.

I have a question about my shocks. I'm trying to do a diffrent kind of setup. I want it to be daily driven and handle good. The thing is my rear drums were taken out and he put a 1996 gsr dick breakes or the whole setup on the back. My question is, Do i have to buy civic setup for the back or a gsr? Thanks alot guys. I also have a fairly used excellent condition spoon carbon fiber hood for sale. Shoot me an offer. I realy need the space..

 

civic suspension cause the DC2 LCAs wont fit your chassis
and the setup wont be different it will be the same as somone elses unless you are building the parts your self...

 

What? I dont get it. The thing is all my shocks and springs are brands new. I just need to raise the front about inch. It is hitting my fender realy bad. Can i just change the spring? What happens if i just change the front suspension and leave the back as is. Is it bad to run 2 diffrent setup on your car?

 

what are you trying to do different?

 

It is very low. My headers are damaged. My 2 weeks old brand new tires are almost gone. My fender is busted. Oil pan is hitting sometime. I could go on. And they are not adjustable.

OK you said do i buy for a civic or gsr i said buy for civic cause the GSR lcas(lower control arms wont fit on an EK civic....what else do you need to know

 

whats springs are on the car now?

 

basically, for suspension parts, you buy it for your ej...brake parts, you purchase items for whatever car it was from...

so you say you have gsr brakes, then when you buy gsr brake parts...
