Default Rota "Grid"

Hi there guys see if you guys can help. I'm looking to buy a set of rims the Rota "Grid" I looked at it on their site (rotawheels.com) and they've got it in Gun metal w/ polish lip and Silver w/ polish lip. But because the picture was kinda small and I wanted a better view of them both, I wanted to know if anyone have any good picture of the two or if you own a set can I get some good pictures so I know which to buy. I'm looking at getting a set of 16s. Also where should I buy it, should I just give Rota a call and order them up? They don't screw people over do they? Otherwise I also would need a place/site etc. of who to order from as well one that is reliable and don't screw around on people. Well thanks for the help if any.

nice rsx..is it the type s?? Was going to get one myself but didn't want to get stuck with long payments and etc. so bought myself a 95 coupe instead. But plan on getting the motor for swap, if I decided to-if not something else. Well looks nice on it though.

Well thanks guys guess I'll check out the sites and anything else I'll let you guys know..thanks...

freaken great! Thanks man Now that's what i'm looking for. Why can't other place post pictures that big up, makes the buyer like me get a better view of it-making them/me want to buy it for sure . I will for sure need a set after I decided on which one, gun metal w/ lip or silver w/ lip. Just for my caution, you are legit now right? Can anyone else refer me to you? Anyone can give me a word or two on their experiance from them (highendmike)????????thanks though and it legit I'll let you know.

Is the gun metal one supose to look like that with the glitter looking stuff/shine on there? I was thinking just gun metal color w/ polish lip-almost like the sviler one but a bit darker in color-gun metal w/ a lip. The one I'm leaning more towards. thanks I'll let you know.

Rota's gunmetal is pretty dark. Almost looks glossy black from a distance. Yes, the gunmetal has the flaky/shiny sparkle to it. If I remember correctly, they don't make solid gunmetal, only gunmetal with a polished lip.

JLB Motorsports is THE BEST place to get them. Believe me when I say they will offer you the lowest price and BEST customer service over any other dealer. I've personally shopped at 5 other Rota dealers within the past couple years and none of them could touch JLB.

Well that's where I plan to but it from...talked to Hiakru? <--spelling but because some dumb lady couldn't drive freaken dented the crap out of my fender I had to put it on hold until I decided I'm ready for it..dents not fix yet still don't know what to do yet..but rims are on wait now because of that...

And the gun metal yeah I seen the picture didn't like the royal gunmetal that flaky/shinny look is the one I'm talking about.....I just want to get a regualr gun metal with polish lip is all I like...like this

the difference btw the gunmetal and royal gunmetal is the royal indicates a polished lip. so:
gunmetal alone= no polish lip
royal gunmetal= polished lip

i had a set of gunmetal slipstreams. they were glossy and had that metallic flake like car paint. they were too dark though almost black.

yeah that's what I don't like about it it's almost too dark...so no lip eh? Oh well still better than the royal one cuz it's too dark and don't know if I like that flaky/shinny look...but yeah the image link^^^ i wrote that's how I want it to be

p.s. yeah I remeber now that you said that "gunmetal alone= no polish lip" the guy? I talked to at JBL said it's "gunmetal all over" SO they do have it in gun metal do they not? Don't want to be screwed when I order them.....thanks yo

yeah i think he means the whole wheel is gunmetal so there would be no polished lip at all.

not sure what u mean but when spinning the lip on the all gunmetal ones just blend in while the polished lip gunmetal ones will stand out.

okay...I guess..I mean like when the car is in motion do the gun metal like show a lip to it when spinning/dribing etc.??

anyways WHAT'S THE DEAl on this picture here and the royal gun metal? The owner of this wheel said it was gun metal NOT royal gun metal?

Take a look:
http://www.cardomain.com/membe...l.jpg

anyone??????????I'm confuse now because gun metal was said to have no lip and this picture does not look royal metal as it is NOT flaky looking etc. so what's up?????????

Royal just means that it has a polished lip. Both "Gunmetal" and "Royal Gunmetal" have the same shiny flake to the paint. You just don't see it in that picture because of the bad quality of the pic
