205/50/16 to big for my EF8?
I was planning to pick up a set of used SSR Competitions locally. The thing is the tires are 205/50/16. Is that to big for my EF8? I just aquired my EF8 project car and i will build it as a very quick daily driver. Suspension i will be using is just a simple Tokico blue/Tokico spring setup as i drive 80 miles a day on the pothole ridden streets of Hawaii. My main concern is if it'll rub and of course it must look good. And if someone has pics of rims and 205/50/16 tires on an EF8 or EF9... thats even better.
P.S. the guy was asking $1200. He says its flawless, no curbs or warps. If i can get it for $1000, is that a good deal? heres a pic...

The car in my signature is wearing 205/40/16's (2nd pic), lowered quite a bit when I wanted to see what it looked like. Didn't rub at all, half the sidewall was in the fender. Yours should only be .8" taller, so less than half an inch less travel than mine.

also on the specific tires on the wheels. not all tires are exactly the same size as you would be led to believe by the markings on the tires.
