Default Fixed back style corbeau racing seats...

Ok, so I am looking at these, the WIDE version, and it says it fits up to a 44" waist, which I wear a 44" but the thing I am worrying about is the head room. do any of you 4th gen. lude owners have these? whats the head room like. I have heard that racing seats do lower your sitting position a little bit...also, whats the angle like on the back? its not like 90 degrees is it? im like like a 75-80 degree angle on the back would be fine for me, I just dont wanna sit straight up like a big "L"

No Racing seat I have ever sat in has a 90 degree angle on the seat back. I have sparcos, and they are slightly angled back. It is a comfortable position.
Also, the head room depends on how they are mounted. If they are bottom mount, you will actually have way LESS head room if you want sliders. Try to get some side mount seats. I was in a 4th gen that had bottom mounted seats, and sparco sliders / brackets, and my head was about 1" from the roof, and I am 5' 11".
Another thing to keep in mind, if this is for a street car, putting fixed back seats compromises your rollover protection. I think most racing bodies won't allow you to even run them without at least a roll bar.

do u have any suggestions of side mount seats? and I have considered putting a roll bar in, but I will cross that when I come to it. right now, my head is about 1 inch from the roof....and the reason I want a racing seat, it because I have just heard that they are so comfortable and hug you like no other going around curves.
