and was wondering wether i should keep my stock air box and get a spoon elbow and a K&N drop in filter or if i should get an AEM cold air?

Because it will make next to no difference, other than to your db level. A CAI will also open you up to the joy of hydro-lock.

HP diffenrece?

 

They all claim to make a HP difference, but it's not npticeable unless the limitation of your motor is the stock air intake system. While there are some cars like that, an EM1 is not one of them (I drive one and have tried different intakes on it, from ebay short rams to the max-bling AEM V2). The stock intake is fine for your car; I'd advise spending your money where it will do more good.

 

I had a B16 in my del sol and got an AEM CAI and noticed just a slight difference. But it was annoying changing it to short ram every time it started to rain. I say stay stock, unless you want the noisier engine, IMHO the vtec kicking in with a CAI sounds awesome.

 

Get the v2 it will add maybe 5 hp max, nonethless its way better then a stock intake system

 

get a drop in filter... holds better resale value

i have a K&N drop in in it
and cut teh pipe at the bottom to make it like a CAI
