Default mini me or complete d16y8 swap

What is the difference between a mini swap with a y7 block and y8 parts and just getting a complete y8 swap. Is there more compression with a mini me?

One do the full swap because you are wasting your time with a mini-me even the guys who did the first mini-me will tell it is a waste of time.

Second turbo that motor because it is really the only way to get a good power out of it unless you get NOS.
