Any tricks to get stiffer clutch pedal pressure while bleeding?
installed new clutch last night, ACT Extreme plate with 6 puck disc.
basically had someone push down on pedal, open bleed screw, closed bleed screw before reaching floor, pulled pedal up. repeated this many times. made sure reservior was full, made sure bleed screw was closed before bringing pedal up, made sure not to mash the pedal to the floor to avoid damaging MC. pedal comes up on its own, but feels slightly soft until about halfway down where it goes from soft (like stock clutch pressure) to a lot of resistance (what I would expect with this clutch). there is no inbetween, just soft to hard with no progression between the two and not linear at all.
also of note, once the pedal reaches the hard part (about halfway down), Im getting a few clicks as I continue to press to the floor. not sure if I did something wrong which might be causing the pressure problem. I do have all gears working with no problem though.
its been so long since Ive driven the car, let alone a new, much stiffer clutch, so I dont know if this is how its supposed to be or not. basically it feels like I would only have to lift the clutch out halfway for it to catch and be able to drive. really low "catch" point.

also have a question about the slave cylinder. when installing the shift fork and TO bearing, should the slave cylinder be fully pressed in, or fully extended? does this matter at all when installing the clutch?
I don't know of a way to get a stiffer pedal from the OEM master cylinder, but the Omni Power Quiklutch will give you a nice stiff pedal.

Doesn't matter. Unless your pedal is to the floor, the slave shouldn't be extended anyhow.

Thanks Mike. Ill look into the Omni if I cant get it resolved. I think I might have a small leak in the slave. Also as far as the click, I think that was because I forgot to lube the cup and ball of the slave and shift fork. That seems to be fixed now.
