Default ls/vtec question( i searched)

So im more of a h- series man rather than b-series but i know with the h22 you can put the h23 internals (crank rods and pistons) and have essentially an h23 vtec. Can you do the same with a ls/vtec say i put the ls internals in a b16 would it essentially be a ls/vtec TIA

not essentially the whole point of the ls vtec is using the larger bottom end of the non vtec block and mating it to like a B16 head giving you the torque of the ls and the high reving capabilities of the vtec in essence the best of both worlds ........sort of

if it were me i'd use a B20 bottom end and a B16 head.

thanx for the reply. I just remember with h series thats what you can do instead of all the modifications you have to do is jsut swap internals but i guess im in for some work of making a b20 vtec i did the h23/vtec so i doubt this is much different.
