Default 92 civic 1.5l, swap in a SOHC vtec question

My buddy wants to swap a 95 SOHC vtec engine into 92 1.5l civic. Will the car run without the VTEC hooked up? Does anybody have a write up on how to wire in the vtec on this model? My email address is titanbk@aol.com if you could send me some info that would be a HUGE help. thank you.

Yeah the car will run without the wires hooked up to the Pressure switch and vtec solenoid. You will however have a check engine light on. Most 92 civic's have the two wires needed already at the passenger side shock tower all you have to do is run them from there to the engine. Hope this helps.
