tuff to shift after hard rain.
ok so i drove home last night in the pouring thunderstorm and i stayed in 4th gear (std) the hole way home then when i go to downshift and pull in my driveway i have to fight to get it into gear. also the car has a dc sports short throw shifter. never had a problem before with it tho
My suggestion would be, that you should check underneath the car and see if the shifter socket is rusted. I know that rotors can rust up in one rain fall, so maybe the shifter socket is too?? just an idea....good luck

Highly doubt it would rust up like that. Check the condition of your fluid. Sometimes a little bit of water gets inside the tranny (if the level of water is high it can go in from the vent tube) and it wrecks the gear oil instantly. After that I could see it being a little rough to shift.
