GReddy EVOTT pics? sound on turbo car??
i have a thermal rd exhaust on my 01 lude and want to go with a better exhaust to use with my greddy turbo kit, does anyone have any pics of the greddy evott what it looks like from the back?? how loud is this with a straight pipe?? is it worth upgrading from the thermal... need some advice here
its way overpriced. you're better off buying a 2.5" or 3" stainless steel tubing kit, a 14"resonator, and a Magnaflow muffler from a place like Kteller.com (get a local exhaust shop to put it together). That would let you keep the conservative look of the Thermal too. The EvoTT looks like an Evo with a "burnt" tip and bigger piping -it's a grapefruit shooter
Some like it some don't, but you can just search for Greddy Evo pics and that's how its going to look.
I can't speak to the volume levels of the TT specifically, but having a turbo will quiet down the exhuast system automatically. I'd still use one resonator like the Thermal and then replace the cat with a second resonator. But even if you replaced the cat with a straight pipe, it wouldn't be near as obnoxious as a Prelude modified with bolt-ons running a straight pipe.

i def agree there with you on the looks the burnt tip and look are not up my alley. and its way over priced. I have a custom magnaflow exhaust now but i think the guy who did it only has 2.25 in piping. and its welded the whole way back

If he did an OK job, get it redone in 3" You don't necessarily need flanges either. As long as you have a flexjoint on the downpipe and the piping doesn't hang low, its fine. Stick with 304 Stainless though. And a kit from Kteller would make life easier for the exhaust guy too.
