Default Stupid hood problem!

I just took the hood of my CRX to do some body work and paint it. when I was putting it back on, everything went smooth except for when I went to shut it, its not latching down. I have taken all the bolts out, tightened them in difference sequences, left them loose, and even left the latch loose. It still will not close.

Any suggestions, I have never had this freakin problem before...

You actually have a little bit of play where the rear of the hood bolts to the brackets. Close your hood and see if you need to move forward or back and adjust the bolts to the brackets accordingly.

Alright so today I took off the latch, and then latched it to the front end... Then I layed the hood down. I took off the bumper so I can see under and I have about a half inch gap between the hood and the latch. Some how the hood, or bracket bent, I have no idea how the hell that happen, any thoughts on this?
